Re-defining leisure activities
The North Shore combines peaceful community life with the amenities of a bustling metropolitan city. No other region in B.C. offers a better mix of natural and man-made leisure activities for people of all ages. As part of the Raven Woods community, Destiny residents get to enjoy all the benefits of North Shore living to the fullest.
Sporting paradise
Mt. Seymour is a year-round playground just waiting for you. Grab your snowboard and hit the terrain park during ski season. In the summer, take a mountain bike shuttle run down Seymour’s CBC and Ned’s trails, or go on a road ride from Deep Cove to Horseshoe Bay. And of course, you can always step right out your doorstep and hike to the peak of Seymour, or run the Baden Powell trail across three North Shore mountains in an extreme eco-challenge.
But there’s a lot more than mountains here. Play a round or two at Northlands, launch your kayak or windsurfer from Cates Park, or lace ‘em up and play some hockey at Ice Sports 4 Rinks, which is just a few minutes away.
More shopping, less driving
There’s plenty of great shopping nearby at Lonsdale Quay and along Lonsdale Avenue. You’re also just a short drive away from Park Royal — one of the Lower Mainland’s premiere shopping destinations.
Social life central
There’s nothing like having a lot of great pubs and restaurants right in the neighbourhood, and that’s exactly what you’ll enjoy at Destiny, beginning with the patio at Arm’s Reach or lunch at the Turtle Lounge Bistro. The cinemas at Park and Tilford are also a great way to take a little break from your active lifestyle.
The arts live here
The North Shore is home to the Presentation House Gallery and the Deep Cove Stage Society. Capilano College also hosts student concerts and other musical performances.
